Can I back up my favorite places folder in IE before dumping my computer? We have a wicked trojan, and need to dump the whole system, but would like to keep the favorites list. Can we, and how do we do that?

yea, just go to C:\documents and settings\%26lt;user name%26gt;\favorites. Just copy the favorite folder and then paste it to C:\documents and settings\%26lt;user name%26gt;\ on the your desire computer.

File -%26gt; Import and Export
The Import and Export wizard will then start, and you choose to export your favorites to somewhere like My Documents.
