Can someone tell me how to turn off IE with out deleting it or uninstaling it from my pc? ( I just need to be able to hide it if you will) I'am sure your asking yourself, now why would you want to do that ? Well to make a long story short --%26gt; marrage .
How to turn off IE temperary?windows xp pro
go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer and rename iexplore.exe to iexplore.bak
rename it back to iexplore.exe when you want to use it.
Of course, anything you do to merely hide it can be undone by someone who is technical and has admin access.
