"Additionally with A2 when it comes to deleting any thing that A2 finds as a problem that it wants to remove, make sure you verify what it is before allowing it to be finally removed since A2 does not make a backup and it would then be possible to delete something you need by mistake."
Run them in safe mode to delete the infections, then disable system restore, reboot(restart) the pc, then re-enable system restore.
The most important thing to keep in mind, regardless of which anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware and firewall you use is to keep it UPDATED, just as it is important to make sure you have all windows critical and security updates + =

STEP 10: MALWARE REMOVAL TOOLS
1. Trojans, Worms, Key Loggers, Viruses, and Spyware are all very difficult to remove with just a single program. That is why it is recommend to run several programs to aid in the removal process. I recommend running each of the following programs listed below in order. Not all the programs are freeware and require purchase, you don鈥檛 have to run that program but I recommend looking into it if the results come back with your computer still being infected. Still, after all the freeware programs have run through your computer should be clean of any infection.
NOTE: It is recommend to run these programs in Safe Mode for the best results!
2. Freeware 鈥?AVG Anti-Spyware: I鈥檓 not a huge fan of the AVG Antivirus but I鈥檝e found that their Anti-Spyware does have a good kick to it. It can find a lot of the obscure malware programs some of the others might miss.
3. Freeware 鈥?Spybot: This one gets a lot of advertising bots and other malicious programs.
4. Freeware 鈥?Ad-Aware 2007: Just because, does a great job finding cookies and small time malware.
5. Freeware 鈥?Spyware Terminator: Although you might have almost cleaned out the complete infection it doesn鈥檛 hurt to run this guy to double check your work.
6.Spyware Blaster: This is a powerful utility that helps to block potential spyware problems from browsers and websites.
7. Arovax: anti hijacker [ Opera/-/I.E./-/Firefox ]
get them here
http://browseraddons.friendpages.com
while there, get Firefox and the Firefox security extensions:
1] LinkChecker
2] Dr Web
3] finjan
4] BlockSite
STEP 11: SCAN COMPUTER FOR INFECTIONS
1. Once more I recommend going to the online scanner just to be sure that you were able to remove all the malware infections:
STEP 12: TURN ON SYSTEM RESTORE

STEP 13: SYSTEM RECOVERY
1. In a worst case scenario if the following steps do not clean your system, try using system restore
follow the same steps you followed to turn off S.R. but instead, click create new restore point
2. in a VERY worst case, use your recovery or re install disk to re install windows
System restore to an ealier date like maybe yesterday!
Do this:
Accessories%26gt;System Tools%26gt;System Restore
Good Luck! :)
Do this . Go to control panel-add/remove programs. and try to delete it there. Then go to start-search- type in the name of the virus and search in all files/folders. then delete it. even if you cant find it. Do a system restore to a day before you got the virus. Start-accessories-system tools- system restore. You may have to reboot your computer before you can do a system restore.
http://spybot.com - it's free
Edit: A popular solution is to boot in safe mode and run a scan of your current antivirus to see if it can fix the problem. To do it, simply press F8 secs after the computer starts to go in Safe mode.
If it couldn't, it's time to get a better one like Avira AV Personal or Kaspersky Free Online Scanner or Eset Nod32 Online Scanner (If you're not using Windows Vista) to remove the trojan. Once you've got one of them installed and updated, disconnect from the internet %26amp; scan in Safe mode again. Also, in case you forgot, apart from taking basic security measures like regularly updating security softwares and Windows..e.t.c..please remember to use Firefox the next time you browse internet as it's safer than IE .
Sorry for the long answer, but follow it and you will clean your system ~ Pat
First try to use System restore to restore your system to a time when it worked properly

Download and Run Advanced Windows Personal Care,
http://www.download.com/Advanced-Windows... Sometimes you can run this in safe mode, which would enable you to disable harmful programs before they start in normal mode.
(uncheck the Registry tab, but check the spyware, security and startup tabs and see what is starting up and disable harmful items. Run this program in safe mode if possible. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsaf...
You can also keep things from starting up using MSCONFIG

Download, Install Update and Run SuperAntiSpyware

( I used this to remove spyware and Trojans from a laptop that Adaware would only detect but not get rid of ) It detected and removed everything :-)

If your computer can't be cleaned this way, it's because the virus is loading everytime you boot up. as a last resort you can take out your hard drive put it in a nother computer as a slave drive, and use that computers Antivirus / Antispyware program to scan the drive for you, this would work because as a slave drive it is not booting up, and the viruses would not start up
The best way to get rid of trojans is using a best anti-spyware to protect your computer.Anti-Virus is not good at removing trojans.
You must have 1 or 2 antispyware on your computer to protect your computer.
