IIS5.1 help with IE 6 on XP Pro-default webpage of IIS not opened.?

I have IIS 5.1 and IE 6.0 on XP professional laptop. The services shows that IIS is running, but still the default webpage of IIS is not opened when i request http://localhost in my browser. i have tried http://localhost/IIShelp/iis/misc/defaul... also.

Help me please.

Check the port number in which it is running. It is likely that some other software is using up port 80 (.NET does that for sure!)
